It is called 17.17, after the botanicals used and its alcohol content, and is produced by the Clandestini winery
An agricultural, natural, and artisanal Vermouth. It is produced by the Clandestini winery, an established name in the world of natural wines. 17.17, the name of this newborn aromatized wine, stems from Clandestini’s choice to be the architect of every production step, from origin to completion.
“We wanted to tell the story of a place, a time, and an idea of cultivation and winemaking,” explain Anna and Maurizio, the project’s creators. “17.17 is born in our fields and takes shape in our cellar, embodying its deepest identity: integral and impossible to replicate elsewhere.”
FROM THE LAND TO THE CELLAR
17.17 is a 100% agricultural and natural Vermouth. It features chemical-free cultivation of grapes and medicinal herbs, and winemaking with spontaneous fermentation without the use of additives, processing aids, or artificial extracts. Seventeen aromatic herbs and spices are used in maceration. Seventeen degrees is the alcohol content of a Vermouth with a refined and complex taste, distinguished by a perfect sweet-bitter balance, a full body, and a delicate balsamic profile.
A CONTINUOUSLY EXPANDING MARKET
The world of Vermouth is experiencing double-digit growth in terms of both turnover and volume. Modern mixology trends, which aim to enhance the expressiveness and complexity of flavors, find a synergy in the growing focus on high-quality artisanal products that is set to position Vermouth at the top of global spirits demand by 2030.
