Franciacorta closes 2025 with positive results and looks to 2026 with a development program oriented toward foreign markets. This picture emerged during the Franciacorta Consortium Assembly, called to approve the 2025 financial statements and examine the budget for the 2026 fiscal year.
Opening the proceedings was Emanuele Rabotti, president of the Consorzio Franciacorta, with a letter addressed to the members. The document reviewed the first year of his mandate and outlined the strategic directions for the future of the denomination.
Twelve months after his election, Rabotti emphasized the resilience of the Franciacorta system in an unstable geopolitical context. The denomination maintained average prices and recorded export growth—two elements that confirm the solidity of its positioning and the confidence of international markets.
FRANCIACORTA, EXPORTS GROWING AND AVERAGE PRICES STABLE
The Consorzio reaffirmed the value of the path built in previous years—a line based on shared vision, expertise, and cohesion among producers. The stated goal is to preserve and develop this heritage, strengthening the distinctive identity of the denomination.
At the heart of the message was also the role of territorial identity. Franciacorta is presented as a sector capable of expressing value not only through the product, but also through the territory, culture, and the collective vision of the producers.
The Consorzio is now committed to developing new projects to consolidate its market presence, strengthen dialogue with consumers, and enhance the excellence of the region. This context includes the recently presented Yearbook, designed as a storytelling tool for the Franciacorta system and the cohesion of the denomination.
REMEMBERING LUIGI BOSIO, IVONNE BIANCHI, AND DONATA BERLUCCHI
During the Assembly, a moment of remembrance was dedicated to Luigi Bosio, Ivonne Bianchi, and Donata Berlucchi, producers who passed away in the last month. The Consorzio paid tribute to them with participation and respect, emphasizing the sense of belonging within the production community.
This moment recalled one of the central elements of the denomination: the ability to work as a team. This factor was cited as a decisive condition for consolidating achieved results and facing future challenges.
2026 FRANCIACORTA FESTIVAL IN LUGANO, MIAMI, AND MUNICH
The Consorzio’s strategy also translates into an international calendar of traveling festivals. These events aim to tell the story of Franciacorta through tastings, masterclasses, wine culture, and opportunities for interaction with operators, enthusiasts, and stakeholders.
After the first stop in late April in Vienna, hosted at the Hotel Almanac, the program continues with three events between spring and summer 2026: Lugano on May 20, Miami on June 8, and Munich on June 29.
The chosen venues are the Hotel Splendide Royal in Lugano, the Soho Beach House in Miami, and The Charles Hotel, A Rocco Forte Hotel in Munich. The calendar confirms the Consorzio’s focus on markets and contexts with high relational potential.
