Franciacorta is preparing to host the third edition of the Spring Festival, scheduled for Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15, 2026. A weekend dedicated to culture, food and wine, and tradition, with a calendar of initiatives designed to guide the public in discovering the territory.

Open wineries, historic spaces, and gastronomic paths make up an itinerary that combines art, landscape, and conviviality. There are three main themes for the 2026 edition: food, culture, and wine.

GASTRONOMY FOCUS: 16 CHEFS AND THE MARENNES – OLÉRON PGI OYSTER

On the culinary front, 16 local chefs will offer original dishes that create a dialogue between local tradition and the Marennes – Oléron PGI Oyster, a European excellence chosen as the common thread for the 2026 edition.

The creations, designed exclusively for the Festival, will be available in local restaurants. The goal is to highlight the pairing between oysters and Franciacorta, which is increasingly appreciated for its balance and elegance. The proposals will map out a widespread gastronomic itinerary, capable of telling the story of Franciacorta’s culinary heritage through new interpretations.

CULTURAL PATHS BETWEEN ERBUSCO, CAPRIOLO, AND NIGOLINE

The cultural program will accompany visitors to the iconic sites of Franciacorta through guided tours, narrative itineraries, and events hosted in wineries and historic spaces. Thanks to the collaboration with FAI – Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano (Sebino and Franciacorta Delegation), cultural itineraries and extraordinary openings will be offered.

Visits will include the historic center of Erbusco, the Castello Convento and Palazzo Pelizzari in Capriolo, and Palazzo Monti della Corte in Nigoline. A narrative that intertwines history, architecture, and traditions, offering a look at the historical and artistic heritage of the area.

FRANCIACORTA AT THE CENTER: 50 WINERIES INVOLVED

Wine will be the centerpiece of the activities, with tastings, thematic in-depth sessions, and cultural initiatives involving 50 local wineries. The program includes winery visits and events dedicated to the various stylistic expressions of Franciacorta.

At the Consortium headquarters, sensory tastings will be held, led by sommelier Artur Vaso, runner-up for Best Sommelier in Italy 2025. The journey will be dedicated to the distinctive characteristics of Franciacorta and pairings with Marennes – Oléron PGI Oysters.

THE INAUGURATION AT THE TEATRO GRANDE IN BRESCIA

The official inauguration will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 6:00 PM in Brescia at the Teatro Grande, with the talk “The Future of Places: Identity, Vision, and Cultural Responsibility.”

The meeting will be dedicated to the value of territories as living cultural spaces and will be moderated by Dario Maltese. The dialogue will focus on the role of communities in building shared identity and vision, with a comparison between memory and innovation.

With this third edition, the Spring Festival confirms Franciacorta as a cultural and landscape laboratory. An opportunity to come into direct contact with the historical, artistic, and productive richness of the territory.
