Twenty days ahead of Vinitaly, Albenga once again shines the spotlight on Western Liguria wines, hosting “Le Prime di Vite in Riviera” for the third consecutive year. An event dedicated to the preview presentation and tasting of new DOC and IGT vintages from wineries in the Vite in Riviera network, operating between the provinces of Savona and Imperia.
The event will take place Sunday, March 22 and Monday, March 23 in the former Church of San Lorenzo, in Piazza Rossi, in the historic city center. Tasting tables will be open Sunday from 11 AM to 7:30 PM and Monday from 10 AM to 6:30 PM.
MASTERCLASS AND GUIDED TOURS IN THE HISTORIC CENTER
The program includes an invitation-only Masterclass titled “From the coast to the hinterland: discovering new DOC and IGT vintages with Vite in Riviera“. Scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at 10 AM at Palazzo Vecchio, in Piazza San Michele. The session will be curated by Jacopo Fanciulli, brand ambassador of the network.
Sunday at 4 PM also features a free guided tour of the historic center, meeting at the IAT Office. Additional initiatives are planned involving local establishments, shops, and hospitality facilities.
The event is organized with the support of the Municipality of Albenga and under the patronage of Regione Liguria, Camera di Commercio Riviere di Liguria, Associazione Nazionale Città del Vino, and Enoteca Regionale della Liguria. The initiative is supported by Banca d’Alba, Fisar, and 86 ò tanta sei.
