Franciacorta Versilia Week returns from May 29 to June 5. The 2026 edition of the event will bring a calendar of events dedicated to Franciacorta to the Tuscan coast, including tastings, themed dinners, and events in Versilia’s top venues.
The initiative will involve restaurants, beach clubs, and lounge bars in Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta, Viareggio, and other coastal locations, aiming to highlight the relationship between signature cuisine, hospitality, and Italian wines.
For one week, Franciacorta will be the star of sunset aperitifs, guided tastings, and menus designed to pair with the different styles of the denomination. From Satèn to Rosé, including Brut and Millesimato, participating venues will offer dedicated gastronomic journeys.
The event renews the bond between the denomination and one of the iconic destinations of the Italian summer, visited every year by an international audience attentive to the quality of the food and wine offering.
SCHEDULED EVENTS
Guests will have the opportunity to meet the producers and learn more about the characteristics of the labels featured during the scheduled events.
Preceding Franciacorta Versilia Week will be Versilia Gourmet, scheduled for May 25. The event dedicated to fine dining will present the “Versilia Restaurant Oscars.” Franciacorta, an official partner of the event for several editions, will once again accompany the chefs’ creations with a selection of labels.
Three main events have been announced by the organizers. On May 25, the Versilia Gourmet gala dinner will be held at the Hotel Paradis in Pietrasanta, the venue for the awards ceremony. May 29 will feature the opening night of Franciacorta Versilia Week at La Pia Beach Restaurant in Viareggio. The closing is scheduled for June 5 with the final dinner at Vignaccio al Mare in Marina di Pietrasanta.
FRANCIACORTA’S SUMMER PRESENCE IN VERSILIA
The collaboration between Franciacorta and the businesses of Versilia will continue throughout the summer with new dinners and events hosted in some of the coast’s most famous destinations. Through this project, Franciacorta confirms its dialogue with the world of Italian catering and with the leaders of high-end hospitality, focusing on the promotion of the territory and the identity of the denomination.
