On March 3 and 4, 2026, the heart of European wine tourism beats in Valladolid for the seventh edition of FINE WineTourism Marketplace. Among the 140 exhibitors will be Assovini Sicilia, alongside three member wineries: Camporè, Donnafugata, and Duca di Salaparuta.

The event confirms itself as a benchmark for the sector in Europe. The program includes over two thousand B2B meetings between wineries, tour operators, and specialized professionals, with the participation of more than 100 top international buyers. The goal is to foster networking and develop new business opportunities in major global markets.

During the two days, conferences and workshops dedicated to territorial marketing models and best practices in contemporary wine tourism are scheduled. An agenda built on targeted appointments, designed to directly connect supply and demand.

WINE TOURISM AS A STRATEGIC LEVER FOR SICILY

“Sicilian wine comes from an unparalleled mosaic of terroirs, and wine tourism is the key to telling its story without filters—declares Mariangela Cambria, president of Assovini Sicilia. Participating in a vertical and pragmatic fair like FINE Wine Tourism Marketplace allows us to bring our experience to Spain and share with major global operators the beauty of our territory and our wineries.”

For Sicilian wineries, the Valladolid event represents a visibility opportunity in a highly specialized context. Sicilian wine exports are distributed 45% in Europe and 31% in the American market. Asia follows with 16%, Oceania with 6%, and Africa with 2%.

These figures outline a consolidated international presence. Participation in the Spanish fair aims to strengthen traditional routes and capture new trends related to experiential tourism, increasingly central to wine and territorial promotion strategies.
