Signorvino is strengthening its presence in Rome with the opening of a second location in the historic center. The wine bar and restaurant chain founded in 2012 by Sandro Veronesi (Oniverse), already present in the capital in Piazza Barberini, has now chosen Largo dei Lombardi 8, just steps from Via del Corso. The new space spans 200 square meters and features 60 indoor seats, plus an additional 40 seats in an outdoor area overlooking the square. A strategic position in the heart of the city, designed to capture both tourist traffic and the local Roman public.

A STRATEGY LINKED TO THE CITY’S ICONIC LANDMARKS

The opening in Largo dei Lombardi is part of a strategy already adopted by the brand in other Italian cities. In recent months, Signorvino has inaugurated new locations in Piazza delle Erbe in Verona and Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Turin, in addition to opening a terrace on Ponte Vecchio in Florence. Choosing urban contexts of high historical and symbolic value reflects the desire to establish a presence in central hubs of city life. The stated goal is to enhance the dimension of contemporary social life through wine and dining.

CUISINE, WINE, AND EVENTS AT THE NEW ROMAN LOCATION

The gastronomic offering and wine list will follow the proven approach of the Piazza Barberini location, maintaining the balance between quality and price that characterizes the Signorvino format. Alongside dining and wine sales, the new Roman store will also be a space dedicated to cultural and educational activities. The calendar includes tasting dinners with producers, lifestyle events with DJ sets, and wine lessons. A program designed to make the venue a permanent meeting point within the urban fabric.

“Positioning ourselves in prestigious locations in the heart of cities reflects a specific desire: to bring Italian wine back to the center of urban social life. The center of Rome perfectly represents our vision of accessible conviviality for both tourists and those who live in the city every day and seek authentic experiences. We are not just a showcase, but a place of culture and encounter: this is why we care deeply about organizing events and direct communication, capable of educating without ever being inaccessible,” says Federico Veronesi, CEO of Signorvino.

THE SIGNORVINO FORMAT AND NETWORK NUMBERS

Signorvino presents itself as a format dedicated to promoting Italian food and wine excellence. The brand combines a wine shop, featuring over 2,000 Italian wine labels, with high-quality cuisine in urban and contemporary settings.

The brand’s philosophy is linked to an idea of conscious and accessible consumption. As Federico Veronesi, CEO of Signorvino, states, “the consumption model we promote at Signorvino is far from the idea of excess. Drinking wine means sharing a pleasure with taste, discovering territories and traditions, and deepening a sensory experience. Wine has accompanied our culture for millennia and, as with everything, the only enemy is excess.” With the opening of the new location in Rome’s historic center, Signorvino reaches a total of 43 stores, including two abroad in Paris and Prague.
