Stefano Pizzamiglio is the new president of the Colli Piacentini Wine and Flavor Route. The appointment took place on Monday, March 23, during the association’s 26th Ordinary Assembly.
Pizzamiglio, head of the La Tosa farm, succeeds Elisabetta Virtuani, who leaves the presidency after four terms. The transition marks a change in the governance of the Piacenza food and wine itinerary, with the aim of continuing the work of territorial enhancement and strengthening collaboration between local operators.
Virtuani will remain active within the organization in the role of director, handling management and project development. The presence of Maria Carla Gazzola, a long-standing figure of the Route, has also been confirmed in a coordination role.
ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS BETWEEN 2025 AND 2026
During the assembly, the activities scheduled for 2025 and the project guidelines for 2026 were presented. The Colli Piacentini Wine and Flavor Route currently has 55 members: 39 private entities, including wineries, wine producer associations, agriturismos, restaurants, bed & breakfasts, and agri-food producers, and 16 public entities, trade associations, and protection consortia.
Following the conclusion of the 2024-2025 regional call, which supported promotional activities and interventions on company and road signage, the new 2026-2027 call is expected to be released. New projects for the enhancement of the itinerary are currently in preparation.
Furthermore, the assignment of the 2026 PTPL (Local Tourism Promotion Program) by the Emilia Tourism Destination continues for the fifth consecutive year. The Colli Piacentini Route confirms its role as lead partner for the Food & Wine theme in the provinces of Piacenza, Parma, and Reggio Emilia, in collaboration with four other Wine and Flavor Routes and 16 local municipalities.
