Pasqua Vini announces that Andrea Pasqua has joined the company as the winery’s Business Development Manager, after working in recent months on partnership projects with American producer Charles Smith in Washington State and with Carole Bouquet in Pantelleria. A board member since 2020, he will “strengthen the company’s strategic vision.” This leadership is shared with his father Umberto, president, and his brothers Riccardo, CEO, and Alessandro, president of Pasqua USA.
Andrea Pasqua is tasked with managing strategic partnerships and accelerating Pasqua Vini’s growth plans. 2025, the winery’s centenary year, has already seen the company become the exclusive international distributor for American winemaker Charles Smith’s House of Smith collections, and invest in the Sangue d’Oro winery in Pantelleria, Sicily. These projects have been finalized and are now entering the operational phase, thanks in part to Andrea’s contribution.
ANDREA PASQUA’S BACKGROUND
Andrea, 35, draws on a solid academic and professional path: a degree in Business Administration and Management from Bocconi in Milan, followed by a Master’s in International Management from IE Business School in Madrid and an executive course at the London School of Economics. During his studies, at age 20, he was in New York for an internship at Chatman Imports, a Wine & Spirits company in the USA, which immediately introduced him to the field he would later pursue.
“I have the extraordinary opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of the family business. As a board member,” Andrea Pasqua emphasizes, “I have participated in the strategic decisions made in recent years. Meanwhile, I have grown professionally, opening myself up to an international vision thanks to a very important and formative ten-year experience within the LVMH Group. At Pasqua, we have taken very significant steps that the market recognizes. My enthusiasm, experience, and dedication are now fully at the company’s disposal.”
“Together with the board,” adds Umberto Pasqua, president of Pasqua Vini, “we are thrilled that Andrea has accepted the invitation to join the company operationally as well. His contribution will be strategic for the new challenges we are about to face, with the boldness and determination that characterize our family.”
