Winemag.it & Vinialsuper: the world of Italian wine in the only independent information network

The wine magazine Winemag.it, published by Winemag Editore, was founded in 2015 and is almost entirely dedicated to Horeca wine (wine shops, restaurants, hôtellerie). The editorial offering is completed by Vinialsuper, a column and guide to supermarket wines (Mass Retail – GDO).

The portal represents a unique example in Italy of independent information within the field of food and wine criticism and news. Objectivity, journalistic reporting, and respect for readers are the core values with which the editorial team operates daily, providing up-to-date and original news.

When it comes to tasting, for the Winemag Editore network, “the glass must do the talking.” Away, then, with marketing abuses and the excesses of storytelling used to push something onto consumers that “is not.”

The project was launched by former Milanese reporter Davide Bortone, founder and current editor-in-chief of the network. The Winemag Editore team includes other industry professionals for editorial and administrative activities.

Alongside them are several contributors across Italy, eager to provide readers with an impartial account of the extraordinary world of wine. News, advice on the best wine labels, and reports from the most prestigious wine regions are at the heart of our work.

Every year we publish the Top 100 Best Italian Wines Guide by Winemag.it, available on Amazon Kindle in e-book format. A tool that rewards the best Italian productions, especially artisanal ones resulting from the enhancement of micro-plots and crus of the extraordinary “Italian vineyard.”

From 2025, with the 2026 edition, the Winemag Guide is finally also available in print format, purchasable on platforms like Amazon.
