Grandi Langhe 2026 will provide the backdrop for the conference “Beyond Barbaresco, MGA at 360°” held by Alessandro Masnaghetti, vineyard cartographer and expert on the wine-growing areas of the Langhe. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, January 27 at OGR Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Turin.
During the conference, Masnaghetti will present Barbaresco MGA at 360°, a new multimedia tool available on the Enogea360 platform. The project offers a three-dimensional view of the Barbaresco DOCG additional geographic mentions, integrating cartographic data and an immersive interpretation of the vineyard landscape.
ENOGEA360 AND BARBARESCO MGA AT 360°
The tool allows for a detailed exploration of the Barbaresco MGAs, linking vineyards, terrain morphology, and the landscape context. The goal is to provide an advanced insight into the denomination, useful for both technical and educational purposes.
For producers, Barbaresco MGA at 360° represents a way to showcase the territory even from a distance, illustrating individual mentions as if the audience were present in the cellar. For enthusiasts and professionals, the tool allows for a deeper look at the denomination from a unique perspective, with a visualization that goes beyond the two-dimensionality of traditional cartography.
