Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes in excellent sanitary condition, satisfactory production yield for higher-elevation vineyards
The 2025 harvest presents excellent quality prospects for Alta Langa DOCG. A mild winter, followed by a cool spring characterized by regular rainfall, favored uniform flowering and good fruit set. Summer progressed regularly, with sunny, bright days and good daily temperature variation—ideal conditions for grape growth and ripening.
Harvesting began a few days earlier than the seasonal average. For Pinot Noir, the harvest started in the week following August 15 in mid-altitude areas. In vineyards located at higher elevations, it will be necessary to wait a few more days to reach optimal ripeness.
Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes are in excellent sanitary condition, with a good balance between acidity and aromatic components. Even in the highest vineyards, production yield is satisfactory—a sign of a promising vintage both qualitatively and quantitatively.
