The Forma auction, the final live event of Pandolfini‘s Fine and Collectible Wines department, concluded in Florence on November 7. The final tally shows over 98% of lots sold and revenue of €1,245,518. The total for the three 2025 auctions thus reaches more than €2.5 million. This figure exceeds the results of 2023 and 2024, consolidating the Auction House’s role as a national benchmark and a significant presence on the international market.
FRANCE RESULTS
The top sale was the 1998 Romanée Conti Domaine de la Romanée Conti, hammered at €13,640. Also noteworthy was the 9-bottle 2021 Groupe Duclot Bordeaux Prestige Collection case, sold for €8,060, and the 2019 Pétrus magnum, which closed at €8,184. Champagne recorded significant results: a 6-liter bottle of 2008 Cristal Louis Roederer reached €9,920. This was followed by the 2008 Cuvée S Salon magnum at €8,680 and two bottles of 2008 Millésime Jacques Selosse, both sold for €3,472. Other standout French labels included the 2010 Corton-Charlemagne Domaine J.-F. Coche Dury (€7,440), the 2007 Montrachet Domaine de la Romanée Conti (€5,704), the 2010 Montrachet Domaine J. C. Ramonet (€3,224), and the 2018 Musigny Domaine G. Roumier (€8,680).
ITALY RESULTS
For Italy, a 6-liter bottle of 2009 Masseto marked the best performance at €7,688. Tuscany remains central with two magnums of 2020 Case Basse Gianfranco Soldera 100% Sangiovese (€4,712), a 6-liter bottle of 2019 Brunello di Montalcino Corso Podere San Giuseppe Stella di Campalto (€3,720), and a bottle of 1985 Sassicaia Tenuta San Guido (€2,976). Finally, Piedmont also stood out: three bottles of 2010 Barolo Monfortino Riserva Giacomo Conterno reached €3,968. A 1999 Barolo Artistic Label Bartolo Mascarello magnum sold for €2,728.
COMMENTS
The department highlights the value of the milestone achieved: a result that strengthens a 25-year history during which Pandolfini has continued to offer collectors high-end lots in excellent condition, maintaining steady growth.
