In the Prati district, a few steps from Castel Sant’Angelo and the Vatican, Tullia restaurant opens. The venue is located next to the NYX Hotel Rome, on the right bank of the Tiber, in a residential area of the capital. The project was created with the aim of establishing a space open to the city, where traditional Roman cuisine is presented with a contemporary interpretation.
The restaurant’s name recalls Tullia, Cicero’s daughter, a figure linked in historical imagination to the values of culture and conviviality. The concept of the venue draws inspiration from this reference, combining elements that evoke the Roman domus with modern design lines and materials. The atmosphere is designed to offer an intimate and welcoming ambiance, in continuity with the urban context of the Prati district.
ROMAN CUISINE AND SHARING PLATES
The gastronomic offering focuses on the great classics of Capitoline cuisine. The menu features signature dishes such as tonnarello cacio e pepe and saltimbocca alla romana, preparations that represent the city’s gastronomic tradition.
Alongside the historic dishes, the menu includes offerings designed for sharing. Among these are a selection of Lazio cheeses and a line of gourmet pizzas. The goal is to expand the offering while maintaining a direct connection with the territory and its products.
The cuisine focuses on the quality of ingredients, sourced from local suppliers. A choice that allows the enhancement of regional ingredients and the creation of a gastronomic offering based on seasonality and the recognizability of flavors.
LAZIO WINES AND COCKTAILS INSPIRED BY ROME’S DISTRICTS
The experience at Tullia restaurant is completed by a wine list that pays attention to Lazio productions, alongside labels from other Italian regions. The wine selection is designed to accompany traditional Roman dishes and the other menu offerings.
Alongside wine, the venue also offers a cocktail list inspired by some of the capital’s historic locations. The drinks bear the names of iconic districts and areas of the city, from Trevi to Campo Marzio to Monti. The latter is dedicated to a reinterpretation of the Negroni, one of Italy’s most renowned cocktails.
FEDEGROUP MANAGEMENT
Tullia restaurant is created by Fedegroup, an Italian company active in food & beverage services for the hospitality sector and in hotel management. The project is part of the group’s strategy oriented toward developing restaurant formats connected to the hospitality world. With this opening, the gastronomic offering of the Prati area is enriched with a new address that combines Roman cuisine, attention to ingredients, and a beverage offering built between wine and mixology.
