The latest creation from <strong>Cordero di Montezemolo<\/strong> is a <strong>Pelaverga born outside the municipality of Verduno<\/strong>, traditionally associated with this variety, and specifically <strong>in the municipality of Cherasco<\/strong>. The distance is minimal, just a few kilometers as the crow flies and, above all, almost identical soil and climate conditions. The result? A Pelaverga that rightfully takes its place alongside the most appreciated <strong>Verduno Pelaverga DOC<\/strong> wines.    <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-a9827867\"><h5 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">FUORICASA, THE LANGHE DOC PELAVERGA BY CORDERO DI MONTEZEMOLO<\/h5><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Elena and Alberto Cordero di Montezemolo<\/strong> presented the project at the Al Cortile Figli dei Fiori bistro, a redeveloped but intentionally unrestored corner of 1950s Milan. Their desire to produce Pelaverga was clear, despite facing a lack of available land in Verduno. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pelaverga produced in Cherasco cannot carry the DOC designation<\/strong>, but instead falls under the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.winemag.it\/mosaico-langhe-doc-migliori-assaggi-dal-nebbiolo-al-sauvignon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Langhe Doc<\/a><\/strong>, a much broader and more generalized appellation. A way of &#8220;leaving home without losing the keys.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pelaverga is certainly a grape variety little known to less experienced consumers, unlike much more famous Langhe wines such as Barolo. &#8220;<strong>Fuoricasa can represent a way to attract young people to the great wines of the Langhe<\/strong>,&#8221; comments Alberto Cordero di Montezemolo, &#8220;but the reverse relationship can also work.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-e46a286a\"><h5 class=\"uagb-heading-text\"><strong>LANGHE DOC PELAVERGA FUORICASA: THE TASTING<\/strong><\/h5><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fuoricasa is characterized by a bright, pale red color that immediately captivates the nose with delicate hints of strawberry, violet, and raspberry.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The background of white pepper tickles the nose and invites a sip\u2014elegant and smooth, with a structure that is never intrusive and moderate tannins.
