The grapes for this unique dry red wine are born and grown in a century-old vineyard located in <strong>Cima Corgo<\/strong>, on <strong>schist terraces<\/strong> facing northwest, overlooking the <strong>Douro Valley<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Winemaking involves manual harvesting, whole-cluster maceration for about two weeks in a large wooden vat, and twelve months of aging in used barrels. The result is <strong>a wine distinguished by complexity and balance<\/strong>, capable of expressing like few others in the world the elegance and layering of schist soils. On the nose, ripe red fruits emerge, along with fine spices and mineral notes of graphite. On the palate it shows <strong>freshness and finely sculpted tannins<\/strong>, supported by a compact and elegant structure. The finish is long, with <strong>savory and fruity, crisp returns<\/strong>. The first, exclusive and patented, is the <strong>X100 technology<\/strong> of <strong>electromagnetic imaging<\/strong>. Each closure is examined internally to identify any irregularities invisible to the naked eye. The artificial intelligence algorithm then connects this information with the <strong>oxygen transmission rate (OTR)<\/strong>, identifying samples that could allow air to pass through at rates up to ten times higher than standard. These closures are immediately discarded.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second level of control is the <strong>DS100 procedure<\/strong> (<strong>Dry Soak<\/strong>, 100% inspected). The closures are placed in <strong>containers with small amounts of pure water<\/strong>. A team of specialists evaluates any aromatic deviations, eliminating suspect batches.
