But it&#8217;s not the end of the world.&#8221; That&#8217;s how <strong>Edoardo Freddi<\/strong>, CEO of <strong>Edoardo Freddi International<\/strong>, comments on the latest developments regarding tariffs between the European Union and the United States. The manager, one of the leading exporters of Italian wine globally, urges <strong>not to dramatize the situation<\/strong>, while acknowledging the significance of the measure.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Freddi, however, timely interventions are needed. &#8220;Why not allocate part of the <strong>PNRR or OCM Wine funds<\/strong> to an extraordinary plan to support exports to the USA?&#8221; he asks. &#8220;It would be a strong signal of responsibility and vision.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-c3b082b7\"><h5 class=\"uagb-heading-text\"><strong>EDOARDO FREDDI: APPEAL FOR INDUSTRY UNITY<\/strong><\/h5><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his statement, Freddi emphasizes the <strong>importance of a shared effort<\/strong>. &#8220;Producers, institutions, and importers must stand together,&#8221; he states. &#8220;We must support those who are in the market\u2014the CEO continues\u2014those who promote and sell Italian wine overseas every day, because without them we wouldn&#8217;t exist either.&#8221; Freddi urges not to neglect relationships with American clients: &#8220;<strong>We must stay close to them, now more than ever<\/strong>.&#8221;   <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-9a787471\"><h5 class=\"uagb-heading-text\"><strong>UNFAVORABLE EXCHANGE RATE AND FUTURE STRATEGIES<\/strong><\/h5><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond tariffs, the other critical factor identified by Freddi is the currency exchange rate. &#8220;It severely penalizes our exports. But it will pass,&#8221; he states. His message to the industry is clear: stay united, adapt to the new conditions, double down on efforts. &#8220;<strong>This is the time to move forward<\/strong>\u2014he concludes\u2014with intelligence and determination.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-d77c1fd3\"><h5 class=\"uagb-heading-text\"><strong>EDOARDO FREDDI INTERNATIONAL: \u20ac112 MILLION IN REVENUE<\/strong><\/h5><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in 2012 in Castiglione delle Stiviere (MN), Edoardo Freddi International is now Italy&#8217;s leading wine export management company. A true &#8220;business accelerator&#8221; for wineries looking to grow internationally. <strong>The company supports 63 Italian wineries<\/strong>, acting as an intermediary with importers and distributors in major international markets.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2024, managed revenue exceeded \u20ac112 million (+8.2% compared to 2023), with over 30 million bottles sold in key countries such as the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Singapore, Japan, and Vietnam.
