This was established by a decision published on July 23, 2025, signed by the two co-presidents <strong>David Chatillon<\/strong> and <strong>Maxime Toubart<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The measure aims to ensure <strong>supply security and stability<\/strong>, in a context of excess inventory. As of July 31, 2025, the <strong>supply chain stock ratio reached 4.8 years<\/strong>. A threshold deemed no longer compatible with the functioning of the <strong>Champenois economic model<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-9d93d027\"><h5 class=\"uagb-heading-text\"><strong>GRADUAL PATH TOWARD A SUSTAINABLE LEVEL<\/strong><\/h5><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Comit\u00e9 Champagne has therefore decided to initiate a <strong>destocking process<\/strong>. The goal is to bring the ratio back to 4.2 years in upcoming campaigns. Once this level is reached, the model will once again be effective for all sector operators.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the same decision, the Comit\u00e9 specifies that <strong>quantities harvested beyond 9,000 kg\/ha may be placed in reserve<\/strong>. All in compliance with two limits: the butoir yield (maximum authorized per hectare) and the individual reserve ceiling. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-3563b6ff\"><h5 class=\"uagb-heading-text\"><strong>CIRCULARS AND PENALTIES<\/strong> FOR THOSE EXCEEDING CHAMPAGNE YIELDS 2025-2026<\/h5><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The implementation procedures for the decision will be defined in <strong>specific operational circulars<\/strong>.
